La Democracia gets water system

La Democracia, designated as one of the new satellite towns, will be growing by leaps and bounds in the future with the addition of some two thousand new homes, but today the folks already living there got a new water system. But at a cost of over two hundred thousand dollars, the system will provide water to fifty-five households. Financing came from the Social Investment Fund, the government and the village. Area Representative Ralph Fonseca also cut the ribbon on the newly renovated community center. Tomorrow a financial agreement will be signed by Prime Minister Said Musa which will allow housing construction to begin in La Democracia and provide jobs for residents.
