Driver sought in hit and run
Police are looking for a man who failed to stop after reportedly knocking down a four-year-old child in Independence on Friday night. Carlos Muschamp is accused of hitting Albert Rivas with his gray pickup as the child was walking to a store in the village. The boy was cut in the forehead and complained of head and stomach pains. Police say Carlos Muschamp was previously disqualified from driving when he was caught without a license or insurance.
