Police Say Hall’s Execution is Drug-related
Thirty-year-old Eder Hall was killed on Wednesday morning by a lone gunman who shot him as he stood at a deli on Second Street South in Corozal Town. The incident happened in the open shortly before nine a.m. While Hall attempted to elude his attacker, he did not get far. When the gunman caught up with him a short distance away, multiple shots were fired in his direction, killing him instantly. The Commissioner of Police says the hit on Hall was drug-related.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
“From what I have been briefed is that yesterday morning, police responded to information of shots fired and upon arrival they met, or they saw the lifeless body of Eder Hall. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. We believe that his death was drug-related, we’re looking for a known figure from Corozal in respect of that matter.”

“Do you expect retaliation?”
Chester Williams
“Yes we do anticipate that there is going to be retaliation. Eder Hall is a well-known figure in Corozal and he does have some followers. So we do expect retaliation and myself and the O.C. in Corozal have been in dialogue and we are putting things in place to mitigate whatever retaliation that they may have.”
