Stabbing near Puc Murder Scene May Be Related
Police are questioning whether a stabbing that occurred a short distance from where Puc was murdered is connected. Esvin Arana was at home when he was ambushed by two individuals and wounded. Arana’s brother does not think the attack is related.
ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch
“Police were called to the home of Esvin Arana in the J&W housing area in Belmopan where he was observed also with stab wounds. What we know so far is that two young Hispanic males in their teens visited his home where they asked for someone and was told that that person didn’t reside there. As a result those persons inflicted several stab wounds to him.”
