The journey has not been easy but will help to further develop the country. While it was officially launched today, the project started in 2013 with an approved total budget of approximately one point-eight million U.S. dollars and technical assistance from the Taiwanese government.

“Under the ICT funding project of Taiwan’s ICDF from August 2013 to December 2017. Through the collaborative efforts by Belizean government and Taiwanese experts during these years, now the system is successfully activated and ready to serve in Belize. With the completion of this system, we expect the maximum efficiency of digital database in governmental label and will be another milestone to achieve Belizean e-government.”
