Official Report on Simon Lamb Shooting

Police are officially speaking on the shooting incident on Simon Lamb Street last Thursday, in which three persons were injured. Kareem Young, Emanuel Wesby, and Camryn Briceño were shot when a gunman in a red car opened fire in the area. Staff from Chon Saan Palace on Kelly Street quickly responded to rush the victims to the K.H.M.H. Today, Communications Director Fitzroy Yearwood shared the official details.

“These persons were walking on Freetown Road when a gunman opened fire on them. Luckily they ran towards the direction of Kelly Street where they were assisted by persons who were making purchases at an establishment in that area. Our investigators are following several leads. We have canvassed that area for surveillance videos and hopefully, we will be able to make an arrest soon.”

“Sir, has police been able to identify who was the intended target in that shooting? Was it one of the victims?”

“Well, Duane that will be very difficult at this time because we have victims from different walks of life, different areas. So for us to say that anyone out of those three was the intended target wouldn’t be fair at this time.”
