2 arrested for indecent assault

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the sexual abuse of children. Fifty eight year old Leyland Tillett, a fisherman from Crooked Tree, has been charged with indecent assault after his daughter reported that Tillett had molested his eleven year old granddaughter. According to the report, the incident took place around 2 a.m. on August 16th, in her home.

In Orange Walk, 44 year old Sylvester Smith Baiza, of Lover’s Lane, has also been charged with indecent assault following a report made by Baiza’s sister that he had been found molesting his 8 year old niece around 5 p.m. on August 18th. Both men are in police custody.
