Michael Young is Shot During Curfew Hours

There was another shooting over the weekend that has left resident of Zericote Street hospitalized.  The attack on Michael Young took place several hours into the nightly curfew and investigators are yet to determine what he was doing outside of his home after nine p.m.  He told police that he had just arrived at his address when he was ambushed by two men who opened fire on him.

“About 11:59 p.m., police visited Zericote Street where they found one Michael Young suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Young claimed that he had just arrived at his residence where two male persons came out from behind a vehicle and started firing shots at him. These men then ran towards Vernon Street after injuring him. Young was rushed to the KHMH where is presently listed in a stable condition receiving treatment. I know that investigators are trying to establish his reason for being out after curfew hours. It is almost three hours after the curfew indeed, but hopefully when Mr. Young can communicate with our investigators properly, we would be able to answer that question.”
