Police Offer More Details on Mother/Daughter Murder

Police have since issued a wanted poster for Bryan Castillo. Assistant Superintendent Fitzroy Yearwood briefed the press via zoom on police’s investigation so far.

“Police responded to a scene on Zericote Street. This is where inside a room they found the motionless body of the females apparently dead… San Ignacio Community Hospital. The mother of that child, Jeniffer Archilla died on the spot and was pronounced dead, the daughter was seen with a large cut wound to the throat. The mother also had a large cut wound and other stabs to the body. Investigation revealed she got into an argument with her common law husband… where Castillo inflected these wounds to… officer have interviewed several neighbors, and now we are searching for Mr. Castillo as he is now wanted for double murder…both Jenifer and her daughter Nitzia have been transported to the morgue at San Ignacio Community hospital where their bodies now await post mortem examinations. Whether or not the mother may have made any reports in the past, I would have to get back to you on that. Because, like your rightfully said it’s not normal for domestic violence to climax to reach these levels on the first occasion. So we are doing a background check, we are doing all that we can.”
