On the phone: Farid Carlos, Brother of Deceased
“He took his job with dignity and pride in doing what he loved to do, it was being a police. I could testify that he was a very humble and a very diligent police officer. He dedicated a large amount of years to the police department and he really loves what he did. He did it with lot of love and care and diligence, because being a police officer is not easy. At the moment I am enrolled in the new recruitment. I am still under training right now. I always had communication with him. He teach me more about policing, about the process and how to be a good police officer. I have made up my mind and a really want to go through this and I really want to become a police officer and be as good as him or probably better. With the knowledge he shared with me, I want to become someone better in the police department. I would even want to reach to the higher ranks so that I could devote that to him in the years ahead of me, devote that to him.”
Farid says the family does not yet know what caused Kieron to lose control of his motorbike. Police are investigating.
