Suspect arrested in Silk Grass murder
What appeared to be a suicide in Silk Grass Village turned out to be a case of murder. Two months later Dangriga police have made an arrest. The body of Honduran Luis Alfonso Hernandez Alcantara was found on May 8th at Polack Farm in a kneeling position with a rope around the neck. The other end was tied to a mango tree. A postmortem showed, however, that Hernandez died of manual strangulation and the police began to pull in suspects. Yesterday they arrested another Honduran of Silk Grass, Raul Ayala who has been charged with murder. He was remanded to Hattieville awaiting trial.
