Gales Point Villagers Came Out En Masse for Myrna
While the Leader of the Opposition, Patrick Faber thinks the state ought to have given Myrna Manzanares an official funeral for her contributions to the Kriol culture, this afternoon, Gales Point villagers showered her with their love and respect. From the moment her casket arrived in the village for the burial, villagers turned out in large numbers to accompany her to the gravesite. They did so in ways she would have surely appreciated, with traditional Kriol music, singing and drumming as they made their way to her final resting place at the Gales Point cemetery.
