Pathology Laboratory employee questioned about robbery
An Assistant Receptionist at the Pathology Lab on Eve Street reported she was robbed of five hundred dollars cash and seven hundred dollars in cheques on Tuesday morning. According to CIB, the woman said she left the lab to go and deposit the money at Barclays Bank and as she walked on Daly street, a man ran up to her and grabbed the manila envelope which had the money inside. The young woman claims that she pursued the robber but was unable to catch him. However police say their investigation has led them to question the woman’s claims and she is being detained for questioning.
