Placencia gets special constables
Ten special constables have been sworn in as part of the Belize Police Force’s village crimes committee in Placencia Village. The special constables were tutored by Inspector Leslie Logan of the National Police Training School and the program was conducted under the leadership of the Village Council Chairman Glenford Eiley. The Placencia Crimes Committee is comprised of Eiley, Lydia Villanueva, Carlton Young, Edwin and Carlton Westby. Minister of National Security Jorge Espat and Police Commissioner Ornel Brooks attended the ceremonies this morning.
