Did Tracy and Shyne Jump the Gun?

Michael Peyrefitte

While two sitting area reps, Tracy Panton and Shyne Barrow, have publicly announced they are interested in replacing Patrick Faber as the leader of the U.D.P., News Five has been reliably informed by operatives within the party that a third person might be throwing his hat into the ring. But, the question is whether Panton and Barrow jumped the gun with their announcements since Faber, as it currently stands, is still the party leader. That is, up to January thirty-first, if he decides to go through with it.  Chairman Peyrefitte explains that it may just be Facebook advertising at this time.

Michael Peyrefitte, Chairman, U.D.P.

“From now till January thirty-first, he could come back and say well ih change ih mind. Ih could come back and say well I did say, I was not going to resign until the thirty-first and it is not yet the thirty-first. So we don’t know. When you have something set to happen possibly in the future, especially in politics, it could be anything. So that is the limbo we find ourselves in. Honorable Barrow and Honorable Panton may very well have announced their desire for something, the possibility of it has not occurred yet. So that is a risk that they would have to take when they come out with that.”
