A police corporal lost his life in a single vehicle traffic accident last Friday on the George Price Highway. “Police received information of a fatal traffic accident at the round-about when heading towards Roaring Creek. When they got there, they saw the motionless body of Police Corporal Solomon Ical, thirty-six years old. Also on the scene, police observed a blue motorcycle, believed to be his. Initial investigations revealed that he was driving that cycle heading towards Valley of Peace when he collided into a pillar— a concrete pillar—that caused his fatal injuries. The officers have secured blood and urine samples and a toxicology report is what we are waiting for to determine whether or not alcohol may have contributed to this accident.”
