Two arrested for jewelry store holdup
Police say they found a black mask, a gun and ammunition they believe was used in the holdup of Reyes Jewelry Shop on King Street on Wednesday. Two more suspects, Jeffery Flowers and Ronald Cox were arrested today. Kevin Myvett was picked up yesterday. Shop owner Pedro Reyes reported that two masked men dressed in black entered his jewelry store while a third stood watch at the door. One of the men pulled out a black handgun and ordered Reyes and his apprentice eighteen year old Jose Hilberto to lie on the ground. The robbers made off with jewelry and cash. Cox and Flowers were out on bail after being charged with the attempted murder of Cao Sai owner of the F and F Shop on Iguana Street in January. Police say it is up to the court to decide if the duo will be granted bail again, in light of this latest crime.
