Accident at market leaves vendor dead, stalls damaged

Story Picture
A traffic accident outside the Queen’s Square Market has left one of the vendors dead. According to police seventy year old Salustia Duran was standing on the canal side between a white pickup and a truck when a van being driven by forty-one year old William Black collided into the white pickup. The pickup slammed into the other truck pinning Duran between the two vehicles. The van then veered off the pavement into the market, hitting a stall, nearly killing another vendor. The side of the stall was ripped off. Duran was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where she later died. Black has been detained pending charges.
