Corozal man killed in Northern Highway crash
A traffic accident on the Northern Highway has left one man dead and five others injured. According to Orange Walk police twenty-five year old Rafael Campos died instantly when the green Ford Ranger he was driving toward Corozal Town collided between miles 57 and 58 with a white Mazda pickup truck travelling in the opposite direction. The driver of the Mazda, Fred Sanchez and his passengers Alfonso Rivas, Gilgardo Arcuro, Howell Blanco and Fernando Rivas are in stable condition at the Orange Walk Hospital. Adolfo Cawich and Adrian Pott, passengers in the Ford escaped unharmed. Police are still investigating.
