Coach Says Belize Team Prepared Well for Games

Coach Casimiro says that despite the challenges with COVID, the Belize team went to camp early, did their homework, and prepared well for the matches.

“We have just done some studies based on previous games that El Salvador has played – “friendlies” that they’ve done. That’s basically what’s I’ve been doing, just video analyses of the things we’ve seen that they played and for us, we are here to compete.”

“Without letting the cat out of the bag, so-to-speak, there must be a game plan.”

“Yes, there is a game plan. I guess football comes with different systems and the game is going to be dictated by what happens on the pitch, so our game plan is to be able to adjust to what our opponent does on the pitch and to be able to overcome any obstacles that we face while we’re playing.”

On Sunday, Belize will play a home game against Panama, and in April, we will face Barbados and Aruba. Wednesday’s game against El Salvador will start at three-thirty in the afternoon.
