B.T.L. and B.E.L. Look Into Technician Fatal Fall

Investigations are being carried out into the death of Edwin Sho.  Belize Telemedia Limited has an agreement with the Belize Electricity Limited to use utility poles for their operations.  B.T.L., as we understand, pays B.E.L. a fee to run their wires on the poles. B.T.L. has issued a release noting that they, along with B.E.L., and all other relevant authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation into this unfortunate incident. The release says, “This is undeniably a horrible incident that has never occurred before”. B.T.L. extended their condolences to Sho’s wife and family and also his work family. Additionally, B.E.L. issued a release expressing condolences to the family and also indicates that an investigation is being carried out. We will continue to follow this story.
