U.D.P. motorcade on the eve of CitCo elections
The incumbent United Democratic Party held a motorcade throughout Belize City this afternoon. News Five did not spot Mayor Moya, but the motorcade started at four p.m. from the U.D.P. headquarters near BelChina Bridge and made its way downtown onto Albert Street. Some of the candidates joined supporters in the short parade that continued to Central American Boulevard and made its way down Freetown Road, Douglas Jones Street and back to U.D.P. headquarters. This is the first time that there has been no public rallies by the U.D.P. in Belize City where eleven seats are up for grabs.
