Boat Captain Robbed of Fisheries Produce at Sea
On Saturday, Belizean boat captain Jose Luis Eguizbal was approximately three miles from the English Channel when he was approached by a vessel carrying four men. They all produced firearms and proceeded to rob him of eight hundred dollars in lobster, five thousand and five hundred dollars in conch, thirty six gallons of fuel, and an outboard engine valued at nine thousand dollars. It’s another case of coastal piracy and police are looking for a known suspect.
