Curfew Gone, Residents Anxious to Get to a Club, but Not So Fast

Lem

While there is relief drawn down from the new S.I. and the curfew has been lifted, bars are clubs are not opening just yet. It will be another few weeks before that is realised. So what do residents have to say about that?

Lem, Sand Hill Resident

“Is it bad for me to say I can’t wait. I would like to get up and out. It has been a bit slow for quite some time. It was very strange walking yesterday after eleven, after the curfew was lifted and there was no sense of tension. It was very interesting, a very interesting experience after a year and five months or so.”

Jordan Howard, Belize City Resident

“I think it would be much safer to still stay inside and then just avoid as much crowd as possible because some people still do have COVID-19 and just walk around like dehn don’t.”

Duane Moody

“I know dehn also di say that they will open up back clubs and bars. Is this something that you guys look forward to?”
