Police: attendant was in on gas station holdup
It was a robbery at a location that is no stranger to criminal violence, so when 18 year old gas station attendant Darian Timmons told police last Thursday night that he was held up while working at A & R Texaco on North Front Street and relieved of over seven hundred dollars of his employer’s money nothing seemed out of line… except to police. Today Timmons, along with alleged accomplice eighteen year old Kirk Lamb, were charged with robbery and conspiracy in the incident. According to C.I.B.’s Simeon Alvarez, Timmons confessed during interrogation that the inside job had been planned for several weeks ago but was cancelled when his shift was changed. Although Timmons implicated Lamb in Thursday night’s stickup Lamb has denied any involvement. Police are still looking for four more men allegedly involved in the plot. Timmons and Lamb have been remanded to Hattieville Prison and will reappear in court on June thirtieth.
