Shopkeeper fights back

Nineteen year old Niguel Card is in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after he took a big chance and reportedly tried to steel a game machine at Huang’s Vista Mart Grocery Shop in Ladyville. Owner Cuoiui Huang told News Five Card has been hanging around the shop quite sometime before he made his bold attempt to steal the huge game machine. He says he did what any man would do to protect his family and business and fired shots.

“The guy came about two thirty as I was coming home after going to town to take my child to school. He saw me coming and asked my wife if we had chow mein. My wife said, this boy looks like a thief and he might try to thief something. So she told him that we do not have any dinner right now and told him to go to a restaurant. He stayed and he moved the game and my wife said why did you move the game. He said nothing, nothing. Then he cut off the game cable and electric wire. Then he just went and my wife called out and said, why did you thief my machine, but he didn’t care. He just went along the side and went by the post and took out all the money from the machine. When I came back my wife said somebody came and jacked the game. Then I pulled my gun and went by the post. And when in the bush, I told him before I shoot you stop run and I shot him.”

Huang told News Five that he fired one shot at the culprit which caught him in the cheek. Card managed to get to the K.H.M.H. where he is presently in a stable condition and is being heavily guarded by police. Police say at this point they have no intention of filing charges against the shopkeeper.
