Millennium Challenge Corporation Signs Agreement with G.O.B.

The Millennium Challenge Corporation, led by Chief Executive Officer, Alice Albright, is on a working visit to Belize to discuss a new agreement with the Government of Belize. C.E.O. Albright and Prime Minister John Briceño signed an initial agreement earlier today to finance G.O.B.’s initial administrative expenses. The provision of up to seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars in funding will ensure that the government and M.C.C. have early access to the technical expertise necessary to conduct a rigorous assessment of Belize’s economic situation, setting the stage for robust project proposals, and facilitating the development of an M.C.C. compact.
