P.M. to Santo Domingo
While we don’t know if he flew TACA Airlines, today the Prime Minister Said Musa left for the Second Summit of Heads of Government of the Association of Caribbean States in the Dominican Republic. The two-day meeting in Santo Domingo will focus on regional cooperation during natural disasters and creating a sustainable tourism zone. Director of International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lawrence Syvestre will also represent Belize. The Ministry’s administrative officer Jose Alpuche will attend a CARICOM meeting to review the World Trade Organization’s ruling on the European Community regime for the importation of bananas.
