Creole book published
To encourage literacy in the language most of us use but few can read, the Bileez Kriol Projek has released its second book in Creole. “Kenti an ih Pa mek wahn Doary” is the story of a little boy who learns to build a dorey. According to the Kriol Projek the story is suitable for use by teachers and while entertaining, provides useful technical information. The book is the second in the “Kriol Kolcha” series and joins Belize Creole publications, “Rabbit play trik pahn Hanansi” and the Kriol glossary. The project says it would like to encourage others to publish materials on Creole culture and language.
