B.T.B. Attends Dallas Travel and Adventure Show

The Ministry of Tourism continues to market Belize as a travel destination on the international market. Most recently, the Belize Tourism Board represented the country at the Dallas Travel and Adventure Show. B.T.B. Representatives shared updates of Belize’s entry requirements and met with agents and potential visitors. C.E.O. Solano says keeping Belize on people’s minds is the goal.

“The Belize Tourism Board actually has a list of travel and trade shows that they attended throughout the year. It is important for us to have a presence in these shows so that people who want to travel to Belize can see Belize and Belize can remain top of mind. Also, when they meet up with the people who represent Belize, they can ask specific questions about travel. Also, we attend along with other hotels and tour operators from the country that can provide specific information about travel and hotel information. It is all a part of the larger marketing efforts for the country. These activities allow us to connect with the potential travelers coming to Belize. So, the show in Dallas, Houston of course, and Dallas, Texas in general is a very important market for Belize. We have a lot of travelers coming from the U.S. and we have direct flights out of Texas. So being able to develop the market there and remain top mind is very important for the entire marketing process.”
