Palm Sunday Message from Bishop Wright

The Christian community in Belize officially begins its recognition of the Easter celebration this Sunday with Palm Sunday. When News Five spoke with Bishop Phillip Wright on Thursday, he gave us a brief Easter message about the significance of the resurrection in this season.

“My quick message this Easter will be perhaps this year more than ever the whole concept of resurrection should have new meaning. As we are climbing out of COVID, climbing out of restrictions, embracing a new freedom, I hope people will also reflect on the freedom Christ brings us through His resurrection and make that a part of our lives and our wellbeing.”
