Police believe missing Mennonite still alive

During a police press briefing held this afternoon, the media was also informed that investigations continue into the disappearance and alleged kidnapping of Meno Penner, the Mennonite businessman from Belmopan. Although Jorge Espat, Minister of National Security would not go into detail, he said the police are working diligently on the case.

“We do not want to prejudice the investigation. I can say, however, that we have every possible resource from the Belize Police Force allocated and assigned to the investigation.”

Espat said they believe Penner is still alive. He disappeared on March sixteenth.
