“In April it’s our tradition to have an All Star game and the All Star game will be highlighting players from each team, they will come out and be on one team and they will face off against each other. So there are four different categories, the U-fifteen category, U-18 category, the U-twenty-two category, and the Open category. And each category will have two teams. They’ll face off against each other. So it will be the best of the best talents showcasing against each other. And then after that there’s also the three-point contest, also the best shooters will come out from each team, then there’s the dunking competition, where the best dunkers will come out. And in the dunking competition in previous years, there was an individual who actually jumped over his wife and child and dunked it. So there’s a lot of hype and a lot of excitement built for this event and then there’s also a skills competition, so those guys with their nifty skills will be showcasing a lot as well.”
Registration for the game is two dollars, and both events will be from nine on Saturday at the Ahmadiyya Muslim headquarters at mile one and a half George Price Highway.
