BOWAND holds art exhibits

An exhibit featuring women artists opens tonight at the Institute of Cooperation and Culture Mexico-Belize. The show is being organized by BOWAND and includes works by Carolyn Carr, Coni, Lori Goodman, Lita Krohn, Rachel Heusner, Vilma Romero, the Garcia sisters as well as a dozen other talented women. Here’s a sneak peek of the exhibition.

The show runs through next week.

And if you love crafts and handmade items, BOWAND also has a second show already open to the public at the Image Factory. It features a number of works made by Donatila Chun, the Fajina Group of Toledo, Mercy Sabal, Stellie Jeffries and the Youth Enhancement Services, among others. News Five viewed the show yesterday.
