Cost of LPG Goes Down
As of midnight on Thursday, the cost of liquefied petroleum gas went down a few cents. The Supplies Control Unit in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise released the new fixed controlled prices for butane. In the case of wholesale import, the cost is now retailing at four dollars and ninety-three cents per gallon across all districts. Meanwhile, the retail cost per gallon in municipalities is six dollars and fifty-three cents. The cost in rural areas is ten cents higher at six dollars and sixty-three cents per gallon. The prices reflect a decrease of nineteen cents per gallon due to a reduction in the acquisition price of propane.
