A Toyota Hilux is Stolen During a Home Invasion in Unitedville

There was an aggravated burglary that took place in Unitedville earlier this week which resulted in the theft of a Toyota Hilux pickup.  Rolando Gonzalez reported to police that upon arriving at his residence, while driving the vehicle into the yard, an orange Haval S.U.V. drove up behind him.  Five masked men then exited the vehicle, two of whom were armed.  A firearm was placed behind Gonzalez’s son’s head and they were then ordered to enter the residence along with other family members.  Inside the home, the culprits demanded money. When Gonzalez informed them that he didn’t have any, the men then demanded the keys to his vehicle.  They took off in the Toyota Hilux which contained a licensed nine millimeter pistol along with fifteen live rounds of ammunition.  On Thursday, police were able to recover the vehicle in the vicinity of Jaguar Paw.  An investigation is ongoing.
