Infant molested by father

Public perception may be that little girls are the ones who need to be protected from sexual assault but a case last month in Orange Walk illustrates all too clearly that boys… even baby boys… are in danger. Police say that they have charged a man for molesting his own son on the sixteenth of February. Police say a seventeen year old girl came forward two days later and told them that she had left her common-law husband twenty-one year old Angel Carpiso home with their son who was one year and four months old. When she returned a short while later the baby was crying and his anus was swollen and bleeding. Police picked up Carpiso who is reported to have confessed to putting his finger into the child while bathing him. Carpiso has been charged with grevious harm and indecent assault.
