Pedestrian hit near entrance to Belize City
Following the second road accident in two days, forty-six year old Pedro Romero lies in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after being knocked down around nine last night. Police reports are that Romero had just stepped off the center divider in front of Ramon’s Gas Station when he was knocked down by a vehicle going up the Northern Highway. The driver has been identified as Emil Grinage of a Belama address. Police say Romero was taken to the K.H.M.H. As of this afternoon he was in a semi-conscious state. So far no charges have been brought against Grinage.
