Man charged with carnal knowledge
A Twenty-one year old has been charged with the carnal knowledge of a twelve year old child. Derrick Banner of a Reggae Street address has been arrested after the girl left home on February twelfth with her two sisters, but failed to return. Her mother immediately notified police, but that same night the girl returned without an explanation as to where she had been. Her mother suspecting something had occurred took the child to get a medical examination which revealed she had sexual intercourse but not by force. Banner is still in police custody.
