Couple taken off flight to pay bill

Arrivals may be up, but one departure was delayed this afternoon at the Philip S.W. Goldson as a group of tourists had a bit of excitement when police and airport security boarded their flight. Two passengers were taken into custody, but no, the couple wasn’t detained on suspicion of drug trafficking. It seems they hadn’t paid their bill for five hundred dollars at a resort on San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. Reports are Larry Hall and his companion were taken to the Ladyville Police Station where he paid his tab. They were then escorted back to the airport to catch their Taca flight bound for Miami which had been delayed forty-five minutes because of the incident.
