B.E.L. Says Power to Be Restored to Entire Country By 7 p.m.
The entire country was thrust into an unplanned power outage around five this evening and the electricity supplier, B.E.L. issued notices on its Facebook page. The utility company blamed the power failure on a fault with its Mexican supplier, but assured that teams are working to stabilize power supply by sections to parts of the country, using their local sources. B.E.L. advised that during this time, some areas will experience intermittent power outages during the restoration process, and that the entire country is expected to be back on the grid by seven tonight.
