Police officers suspended for drug use
Two police officers have been interdicted from duty after testing positive for drugs. The constables, Austin Tillett of Ladyville and Clifford Augustine from the Hattieville Police Station, were tested by the National Forensic Laboratory after complaints they had been associating with known drug users and that their performance was being affected. The Ministry says they have been removed from duty pending the outcome of disciplinary charges in accordance with the Police Department’s disciplinary code.
