Lodge celebrates 50th anniversary

This weekend one of Belize’s lodges, the Star of St. John’s Lodge 106 of the Scottish Mechanics, celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. The District Grand Master Lloyd Neal and Roy Cumberbatch conducted a special service on Sunday evening where a number of people and businesses were recognized for assisting fraternal services, local communities and the country. Those honored were: Prime Minister Said Musa, Senior Minister George Price, Minister Dolores Balderamos Garcia, Lloyd Neal, Max Santos, Misael Flores, Egner Guerrero, Clara Scott, Daisy Williams, Solomon Obando, Maurice Williams, Lionel Welch, Anthony Martinez, Nicholas Pollard Junior and Sidney Buckner. Atlantic Bank as well as Cuello Brothers were also honored at the service.
