Attempted robbery at Chinese shop

On Sunday morning, however, another criminal duo tried to rob a shop on Euphrates Avenue owned by Lui Chee but was unsuccessful. Chee told us around eleven thirty he was getting into his car when he saw two men enter the shop and then heard a commotion inside. One of his employees told News Five what happened.

Eyewitness

“I was inside the shop working. I was standing at the counter inside. I saw a guy come inside and asked for a plastic bag. I gave him the plastic bag and then the guy said hands up and then I yelled, “get the gun, get the gun.” That is when one guy ran from outside the shop and I yelled again, “get the gun!” That was when the other guy ran outside and I locked the gate and that’s how they ran.

No shots fired by the culprits. They did not have the chance. By the time I yelled, they ran outside and they dropped three bullets in front of the shop.”

Police say they are investigating and do not have any suspects.
