Belizean descent model competing for magazine cover

It’s not our morning show but a California based men’s magazine called Open Your Eyes is having an online competition among three beauties who want to be on the cover of their March issue. One of the young beauties is Twenty-one year old Jessica Ochoa. Ochoa’s mother is a Belizean who migrated to the U.S. just before her birth. They return to Belize regularly to spend time with family in Caye Caulker. Jessica’s grand aunt, Therese Espejo, dropped by our studios today asking Belizeans to cast their vote online for her niece who is starting her modeling career.

“My grand niece, Jessica Ochoa. Her mom is a Belizean, her father is a Columbian and they are originally from Caye Caulker. Jessica is a model trying to win the Open Your Eyes Magazine Cover for the month of March.”

“Well you go to a website and you see her picture there and you vote for her. It’s one vote per computer.”
