St Francis Xavier Credit Union Membership Reinstates G.M. Rafael Dominquez
Members of the Saint Francis Xavier Credit Union unanimously voted for the re-instatement of Rafael Dominquez Senior, as the general manager of the credit union. His return to office was made effective on the twenty-second of June, based on the resolution approved by the membership. Mr. Dominguez Senior led a team of Board of Directors, Credit Committee, and the Supervisory Committee candidates, at the General Assembly. All were victorious and given a clear mandate over the administration of the credit union. Mr. Dominguez had served the credit union for over thirty-two years. Earlier this year, Dominquez was the subject of much dispute, after his five-year contract, which expired on April thirtieth, was not renewed by the Board of Directors. While members disagreed with the non-renewal and referred to the action as an illegal dismissal, the Board of Directors argued that they were acting in the best interest of the credit union. Mr. Dominguez has now taken full responsibility as the general manager of the credit union, together with his new Board, Credit Committee and Supervisory Committee.
