Tickets Going Fast for Belize International Music & Food Festival

The Belize Tourism Board was also at the Caye Caulker Lobster Fest. The team was out capturing the festivities as they engaged with domestic and foreign visitors. But their role was two-fold because they were also out sharing information and selling tickets for the first-ever Belize International Music and Food Festival. News Five spoke with Chelsea Evelyn, the Senior Destination Development Officer with the B.T.B., who said that tickets are moving fast.

“We’re actually serving two purposes here at the Lobster Fest. We are here to promote the Belize International Music and Food Festival happening the end of this month in San Pedro at the Saca Chispas Field and we are also here to capture the lobster fest just to ensure that we are highlighting festival tourism and we are showing that tourism is coming back and we can celebrate at the concert.”

“It is exactly four weeks away and I understand that tickets are going fast.”

“Yes they are; that’s the reason why we are out here. We brought extra tickets to see who’s interested. If you guys feel you need to get your tickets now, now is the time.”

“What’s the price range for the tickets?”

“Well we have the general for forty per night. We have the VIP that’s going for one-fifty and the ultra VIP for two-fifty.”
