Paul Lopez, Reporting

KTV the Remix is back and tonight twelve contestants will take the stage inside the Bliss Center for Performing Arts in Belize City. Twenty performers showed up to audition. All twenty were in the spotlight last week Tuesday for our audition show.

KTV the Remix Season Three concluded in August of 2019. It delivered eight weeks of fun family entertainment. The top three performers that faced off in that season were Orelle Castillo, Maureen Budram, and Jenny-Lee Cruz.

In the end, it was Jenny-Lee Cruz who triumphed over her peers and was crowned the champion of KTV the Remix season three.

Following a long awaited return, we are finally backed inside the Bliss Center for Performing Arts to crown a new KTV the Remix champion. Who will that be? Season four promises to bring back the diversity in genres that Belizeans have grown to love. Each week, performers will be pushed outside of their comfort zones to really test their singing abilities. And of course, all this is being done in front of what is arguably one of the liveliest audiences inside the Bliss.

Season four’s grand prize is ten thousand dollars. The judges will be, Jenny Lovell, Chris Bradshaw, and Alexander Evans. You can catch the competition live inside the Bliss, or on Channel Five and on our KTV the Remix Facebook Page, every Tuesday night until a new KTV champion is crowned.

Reporting for News Five, I am Paul Lopez.
