Do they, or don’t they believe in Santa
While adults may be staying up late tonight to wrap presents, visit with friends or go to midnight mass, most children will be trying very hard to go to sleep tonight because they know — or hope — that in the morning they will find something special under the Christmas tree. But while there may be plenty of movies and advertisements on TV featuring Jolly Old St. Nick, do our children really believe? News Five wanted to find out if there really is a Santa Claus so today we asked the experts.

“Because they say Santa Claus is already dead and my grandpa used to be Santa Claus.”

“Because Santa is in the States.”
Well, maybe the children we spoke to didn’t want their parents — most of whom were standing just off camera — to think they still believe in Santa. But if you are a child who does believe, and I hope you are, don’t forget to put out some milk and cookies or a nice piece of fruitcake before you go to sleep, Santa likes that.
