Tourism police officers injured in traffic accident
An accident in Belize City has left two men injured. Police say at about six thirty this morning a security guard for Courts Belize Limited twenty-seven year old Carlos Williams reportedly took a Courts pickup truck for a ride without permission. While on Cork Street by the Memorial Park Williams lost control of the vehicle and hit a parked car. Two tourism police officers accompanying Williams at the time of the accident, Jose Zetina and Gilbert Smith reportedly suffered minor injuries. Both were treated and released from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
